Lomustin Indications
- brain tumors (primary and metastatic);
- lungs tumor (especially small cell carcinoma);
- Hodgkin's disease (resistant to traditional chemotherapy);
- malignant melanoma (with metastases).
Contradictions
- hypersensitivity to preparations of nitrosourea;
- tumor insensitivity to nitrosourea drugs;
- severe form of bone marrow depression;
- severe renal failure;
- Celiac disease or allergy to wheat;
- simultaneous use of a vaccine against yellow fever or other live vaccines in patients with impaired immunity.
Dosge & Administration
Recommended single dose for patients with normal functioning bone marrow that is taking Lomustin Medac as the only chemotherapeutic agent is 120-130 mg / m2 every 6 or 8 weeks (can be divided into 3 days, 40 mg / m2 / day).
