Herpes on the lips and face caused by the Herpes simplex virus.
VRATIZOLIN contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any other components of the drug.
Dosage & Administration
Vratizoline is only indicated for the treatment of herpes, which can occur on any part of the lips and face. Do not apply to mucous membranes, such as the mouth and eyes. This medicine should not be used to treat genital herpes. For the treatment of particularly complex forms of cold sores, a doctor's consultation is required. Patients infected with the Herpes simplex virus should be warned of the possibility of the virus spreading, especially during active skin lesions. To prevent the spread of infection, it is recommended to avoid rubbing the skin lesions, such as a towel. Eye contact should be avoided when applying the cream to herpetic ulcers of the lips and face.
Due to the content of cetyl alcohol and stearyl alcohol, the drug can cause local skin reactions (eg contact dermatitis).
This medicine contains propylene glycol and may cause skin irritation.
Due to the content of methylparaben and propylparaben, the drug may cause allergic reactions (possibly delayed).
