Zoxan Indications

The treatment of mixed infections caused by susceptible to the drug aerobic and anaerobic microorganisms chronic sinusitis,

lung abscess, empyema, intra-abdominal infections,

inflammatory gynecological diseases,

postoperative infection at the possible presence of aerobic and anaerobic bacteria, chronic osteomyelitis,

an infection of the skin and soft tissue ulceration the "diabetic foot", bedsores,

infections of the oral cavity (including periodontitis and abscess).

Treatment of amoebic dysentery or diarrhea, or mixed (amoebic and bacterial) etiology.

Contraindications

The drug is not administered in patients with hypersensitivity to ciprofloxacin or other fluoroquinolones, tinidazole or other nitroimidazole derivatives, as well as to any component of the drug in history. In organic lesions of the nervous system and in diseases of the blood (or with history).

Concomitant use of tizanidine by clinically significant side effects (hypotension, somnolence, drowsiness) associated with an increase in tizanidine concentration in plasma.

Dosage & Administration

Zoxan TZ is taken internally, drinking plenty of water. Dosage and duration of treatment determined by the physician individually depending on the location, severity of the pathological process and the sensitivity of the causative agent.
