Phenihydin Indications
- hypertension
- coronary heart disease,
- chronic stable angina,
- vasospastic angina (Prinzmetal angina).
Contraindications
- hypersensitivity to the drug / dihydropyridine derivatives,
- cardiogenic shock,
- severe aortic stenosis,
- obstructive form of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy,
- acute phase of myocardial infarction,
- unstable angina,
- tachycardia,
- receiving concomitant rifampicin,
- severe hypotension.
Dosage & Administration
The dose and duration of treatment the doctor determines individually according to the severity of the disease and patient response to treatment.
Depending on the clinical picture in each case, the basic dose must be introduced gradually. In patients with impaired liver function may need to carefully monitor its condition, and in severe cases - at lower doses.
For the treatment of coronary heart disease are advised to take 2 tablets of the drug twice daily (20X2 mg / day).
If higher doses are needed, they should be increased gradually to a maximum dose - 60 mg / day.
For the treatment of hypertension Fenihidyn Health-advised to take 2 tablets twice daily (20X2 mg / day).
