Metronidazole Indications
Local treatment of Trichomonas vaginitis and nonspecific.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to metronidazole or another drug. Hypersensitivity to imidazole derivatives.
This medicinal product is not recommended in combination with disulfiram or alcohol
Dosage & Administration
The drug is allowed.
Trichomonas vaginitis. Appoint 2 vaginal suppository 2 times a day for 10 days. Suppository enter deeply into the vagina. Treatment should be simultaneous oral drug Metronidazole tablets.
Nonspecific vaginitis. 2 vaginal suppositories to enter deeply into the vagina, 2 times a day for 7 days. If necessary, you can assign Metronidazole tablets orally. Absolutely essential is the simultaneous treatment of sexual partner of the patient, even if he no symptoms of infection.
The maximum duration of treatment with Metronidazole should not exceed 10 days, and the number of courses of treatment - 2-3 year.
