Reparil-gel N Indications
For local short-term symptomatic treatment of moderate pain in acute injuries due to blunt force (eg bruises, sprains).
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to salicylates, escin or to other components of the drug, as well as to other analgesic and antirheumatic drugs (non-steroidal antirheumatic drugs).
Reparil®-gel H should not be applied to open wounds, mucous membranes, inflammation or infectious skin diseases, eczema, or areas of skin that have undergone radiation therapy.
Dosage & Administration
For external use only! Do not swallow!
Reparil® gel H should be applied 3 times a day. Depending on the size of the affected area to be treated, apply a small amount of gel (approximately the size of a cherry or walnut), which is equivalent to approximately 2.5-6.0 g of the drug (81-195 mg of salicylate).
The maximum daily dose is 20 g of gel, which is equivalent to approximately 650 mg of salicylate.
A thin layer of gel should be applied to the affected areas of the body, evenly distributed throughout the area.
The dressing should be dried on the skin for a few minutes before applying the bandage. The use of an occlusive dressing is not recommended.
The duration of treatment is determined by the doctor. As a rule, application within 1-2 days is sufficient. If symptoms persist for more than two days or if the condition worsens, consult a doctor.
