Azopt Indications
▪ eye hypertension,
▪ open-angle glaucoma,
as monotherapy in adult patients unresponsive to beta-blockers or in adult patients for whom beta-blockers are contraindicated, or as additional therapy with beta-blockers or prostaglandin analogues.
Contraindications
▪ Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any other component of the drug.
▪ Known hypersensitivity to sulfonamides.
▪ Hiperhloremichnyy acidosis.
Dosage and administration.
As monotherapy or adjunctive therapy - dose is 1 drop in the conjunctival sac of the affected eye (eyes), 2 times a day. Some patients may achieve better results with instillation of 1 drop 3 times per day.
When replacing another ophthalmic antiglaucoma agent AZOPT to discontinue the use of other means and use AZOPT beginning of the day.
If you use more than one topical ophthalmic product, an interval between their use must be at least 5 minutes.
If a dose is missed, treatment should continue using next dose treatment under the scheme. The dose should not exceed 1 drop in the affected eye (eyes) 3 per day.
