Nimid Indications
Treatment of acute pain. Symptomatic treatment of osteoarthritis pain. Primary dysmenorrhea.
Contraindications
Known hypersensitivity to nimesulide or to any component of the formulation. Hyperergic reactions that have occurred in the past (bronchospasm, rhinitis, urticaria) in connection with the use of aspirin or other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs; hepatotoxic reactions to nimesulide, which occurred in the past; gastric ulcer or duodenal ulcer exacerbation, recurrent ulcers or bleeding in the digestive tract, cerebrovascular bleeding or other disorders that are accompanied by bleeding; severe blood coagulation disorders; severe heart failure; severe renal or hepatic impairment; fever and flu-like symptoms, suspected acute surgical pathology. Do not use concomitantly with other drugs that could potentially be the cause of hepatotoxic reactions. Alcoholism and drug addiction. III trimester of pregnancy or during lactation. Children under 12 years old.
Dosage & Administration
Nimid prescribed after careful assessment of risk / benefit ratio. Use the minimum effective dose for the shortest time. The maximum duration of treatment Nimidom - 15 days.
Adults and the elderly: 1 tablet (100 mg) 2 times a day (daily dose - 200 mg).
Children older than 12 years: Dosage adjustment is not required.
