RIABAL Indications
Pain associated with spasms and increased peristalsis of the digestive tract: gastritis, stomach ulcer and duodenal ulcer, enteritis, colitis, after gastrectomy.
Pain associated with spasms and dyskinesia of bile ducts: with cholecystitis, cholelithiasis.
Pain in pancreatitis.
Pain in spasm of the urinary tract: in the presence of concretions in the urinary tract, with tenesmus of the bladder, cystitis, peelitis.
Drug preparation before endoscopy of the stomach and gastro-intestinal radiography.
Dysmenorrhea
Contradictions
- glaucoma: symptoms can be exacerbated by increased intraocular pressure;
- urinary disorders caused by prostate hypertrophy: urinary disorders may be exacerbated, as stimulation of detrusor muscle relaxation and bladder sphincter muscle contraction;
- serious heart disease: symptoms can be exacerbated as heart rhythm is accelerated;
- paralytic intestinal obstruction: the symptoms may be aggravated, as the peristalsis of the gastrointestinal tract is slowing down;
- increased sensitivity to any component of the drug.
Dosage & Administration
Orally
Children aged 6-12 years - 15-30 mg 2-3 times a day.
Children aged 12 years and adults - 30-60 mg 3 times a day.
Acute sharp pain, adults can be prescribed with 90 mg per 1 appointment.
