Glutazone Indications
Treatment of diabetes mellitus type II.
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to the active substances or to any of the ingredients.
- Insulin-dependent type I diabetes
- Diabetic ketoacidosis.
- Severe hepatic impairment.
- Heart failure (stages I - IV NYHA).
- Bladder cancer present or in history.
- Macroscopic hematuria of unknown etiology.
Dosage & Administration
The drug is applied exclusively to adults orally 1 time per day regardless of the meal. The tablet should be taken without chewing, with a glass of water.
The initial dose of pioglitazone is 15 mg or 30 mg 1 time a day. If necessary, the dose can be increased to 45 mg 1 time a day.
The maximum daily dose - 45 mg.
