NAKLOFEN Indications

Relieve pain and reduce inflammation varying degrees in different states, including:

- pathology of joints, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, osteoarthritis, acute attacks of gout;

- acute musculo-skeletal diseases such as periarthritis (eg humeroscapular periarthritis), tendonitis, tenosynovitis, bursitis;

- other pathological conditions caused by injuries, including fractures, back pain, sprains, dislocations, orthopedic, dental and other minor surgery.

Dosage & Administration

The dose should be selected individually, starting with the lowest effective dose and should be taken for the shortest period of time.

The recommended starting dose for adults is 100 mg (1 tablet retard naklofen). During prolonged therapy usually is sufficient also use 1 tablet retard naklofen. If symptoms are most pronounced during the night or morning, naklofen ointment should be applied in the evening.

When prescribing a daily dose of 150 mg of diclofenac can be combined with reception naklofen retard tablets 50 mg naklofen or suppositories naklofen 50 mg.

The daily dose should not exceed 150 mg.

Tablets should be swallowed whole, washed down with some liquid, during or immediately after a meal.

Children. The drug isn`t applied on children due to the high content of active ingredient.
