Axastrol Indications

- Adjuvant treatment of invasive breast cancer with positive hormone receptors in the early stages in postmenopausal women;

- adjuvant treatment of invasive breast cancer with positive hormone receptors in the early stages in postmenopausal women who have received adjuvant therapy with tamoxifen for 2-3 years;

- treatment of advanced breast cancer with positive hormone receptors in postmenopausal women.

Contraindications

- Known hypersensitivity to anastrozole or to any component of the drug;

- period of pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Dosage and Administration

The drug is taken orally.

The recommended dose for adults, including the elderly, is 1 tablet (1 mg) once daily.

In invasive breast cancer with positive hormone receptors in the early stages in postmenopausal women, the recommended duration of adjuvant endocrine treatment is 5 years.
