Levocell Indications

In adults with infections of mild or moderate severity Levocell pills prescribed for the treatment of the following infections caused by levofloxacin susceptible microorganisms:

- acute sinusitis,

- exacerbation of chronic bronchitis,

- pneumonia,

- complicated and uncomplicated urinary tract infections (including pyelonephritis),

- infections of skin and soft tissues,

- chronic bacterial prostatitis.

 Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to levofloxacin or other quinolones, epilepsy, patients complained of side effects tendon after previous use of quinolones, infancy, pregnancy, breastfeeding.
 

Dosage & Administration

Levotsel pills are taken once or twice a day. The dose depends on the type and severity of infection. The duration of treatment depends on the disease and is usually no more than 14 days.

Recommended treatment for at least 48-72 hours after normalization of body temperature or microbiological tests confirmed the destruction of pathogens.
