GYNEX Indications
Treatment of candida vulvovaginitis caused by Candida albicans, bacterial vaginosis caused by anaerobic bacteria and Gardnerella vaginalis, Trichomonas vaginitis caused by Trichomonas vaginalis, and mixed vaginal infections.
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to any of the active substances of the drug or their derivatives.
- Drinking alcohol during treatment or within 3 days after treatment.
- Reception of disulfiram during treatment or within 2 weeks after completion of treatment.
- The first trimester of pregnancy.
- Porphyry.
- Epilepsy.
- Severe liver dysfunction.
Dosage & Administration
Adults use intravaginally in the evening before bedtime for 1 suppository for the night and 1 morning for 7 days.
For relapses or vaginitis resistant to other treatments, the drug should be used in the evening before bedtime for 1 suppository at night and 1 morning for 14 days.
