Dokcef powder Indications
Infections caused by susceptible pathogens cefpodoxime:
- Upper respiratory tract (including acute otitis media, sinusitis, tonsillitis, pharyngitis)
- Chronic or recurrent infections, and in the case of known or suspected pathogen insensitivity to antibiotics that are widely used
- Respiratory tract infections (including pneumonia, acute bronchitis or bronchiolitis complicated with bacterial superinfection)
- Uncomplicated infections of the upper and lower urinary tract infections (including pyelonephritis and acute cystitis)
- Skin and soft tissues (abscesses, cellulitis, infected wounds, boils, folliculitis, paronychia, carbuncles and ulcers)
Contraindications
Increased sensitivity to drugs of cephalosporins, penicillins; hereditary galactose intolerance, lactase deficiency or malabsorption syndrome glucose / galactose; phenylketonuria.
Dosage & Administration
Doktsef suspension is intended for use in pediatrics. The prepared suspension should be taken internally during eating to enhance absorption.
To prepare the suspension for 50 ml vials must:
- Shake the bottle;
- Open the bottle, while pressing cylno provernuvshy cover;
- Remove the protective film;
- Fill measuring cap cooled boiled water to the mark 27 ml;
- Pour the contents of the vial cap and shake vigorously until a homogeneous suspension, following to the walls of the bottle not left powders;
