Zoledronic acid Indications

- Prevention of symptoms associated with bone lesions (pathological fractures, spinal compression trunk complications after surgery and radiotherapy or hypercalcemia caused by malignant tumors) in patients with malignant tumors in later stages.

- Treatment of hypercalcemia caused by malignant tumors.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the active substance (zoledronovoyi acid), other bisphosphonates or any of the excipients in the medicinal product.

Dosage & Administration

Zoledronic acid isadministered only by doctors who have experience with intravenous bisphosphonates.

Before the introduction of 4 mg concentrate Zoledronovoyi Farmeks-acid diluted in 100 mL of 0.9% sodium chloride or 5% glucose solution. Ready solution Zoledronovoyi Farmeks acid-infusion is administered as a single intravenous infusion over at least 15 minutes.

Concentrate Zoledronovoyi acid-Farmeks not be mixed with infusion solutions containing calcium or other divalent cations such as Ringer's lactate solution and should be administered as a single intravenous infusion using a single infusion system.
