Zithrox Indications
Infections caused by microorganisms sensitive to azithromycin:
- Upper respiratory tract infections (bacterial pharyngitis / tonsillitis, sinusitis, otitis media)
- Respiratory tract infections (bacterial bronchitis, community acquired pneumonia)
- Infections of skin and soft tissues: erythema migrans (initial stage of Lyme disease), erysipelas, impetigo, secondary piodermatozy; Acne vulgaris (acne ordinary) moderate
- Infections, sexually transmitted infections, uncomplicated genius infections caused by Chlamydia trachomatis
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to azithromycin, erythromycin or any macrolide antibiotic or ketolidnoho or to any other component of the drug.
A theoretical possibility erhotyzmu azithromycin should not be administered concurrently with ergot derivatives.
Dosage & Administration
The drug is taken 1 hour before or 2 hours after a meal, because synchronous use absorption of azithromycin. Tablets are swallowed without chewing. 1 The drug is taken once a day.
