Zinnat grabules INDICATIONS

- Infections caused by microorganisms sensitive to the drug: Upper respiratory tract: otitis media, sinusitis, tonsillitis, pharyngitis;

- respiratory tract: pneumonia, bronchitis, and acute exacerbation of chronic bronchitis;

- urinary tract: pyelonephritis, cystitis and urethritis;

- skin and soft tissue: furunculosis, pyoderma and impetigo;

- gonorrhea, acute uncomplicated gonococcal urethritis and cervicitis;

- early manifestations of Lyme disease and subsequent prevention of late manifestations of Lyme disease in adults and children over the age of 12 years.

APPLICATION

The usual duration of treatment is 7 days. For better absorption of the drug are advised to take immediately after (tablets) or during a meal (suspension). Adults Most infections - 250 mg 2 times a day.

Urinary tract infection - 125 mg 2 times a day. Infections of the respiratory tract of moderate severity (bronchitis) - 250 mg 2 times a day. More severe respiratory tract infections (pneumonia or suspected) - 500 mg 2 times a day. Pyelonephritis - 250 mg 2 times a day. Uncomplicated gonorrhea - 1 g once. Lyme disease in adults and children aged 12 years - 500 mg 2 times a day for 20 days. Cefuroxime is also available as the sodium salt (Zinatsef) for parenteral use. This allows the step one antibiotic therapy during the transition from parenteral to oral route of administration, subject to available clinical evidence. Zinnat is effective in the sequential therapy of pneumonia and acute exacerbations of chronic bronchitis after a previous parenteral use Zinatsefa (cefuroxime sodium).

Instructions for granules to dissolve in vial

1. Carefully shake the vial to reach the friability of the granules. Remove the measuring cap, cap and protective membrane. If the membrane is damaged or missing, the drug is unsuitable for use.

2. Pour 37 ml of water in a measuring cup (up to the mark on the cap) and add the water to the vial and replace the cover.

3. Turn the bottle and shake vigorously (about 15 seconds).

4. Return the vial to the normal position and carefully shake. Optionally, the reusable bottles disclosed in the suspension may be further diluted fruit juice or cold milk immediately before use.

The dissolved slurry can not be mixed with hot liquids. Always before use must be thoroughly shaken bottle.

Instructions for dissolving granules sachets

1. Empty the contents of the sachet into a glass.
