Urolesan drops Indications
Acute and chronic infections of the urinary tract and kidneys (cystitis and pyelonephritis); urolithiasis and uric acid diathesis (prevention education concrements after their removal); chronic cholecystitis (including calculous), biliary dyskinesia, cholelithiasis.
Dosage & Admnistration
The drug is taken orally before a meal.
Urolesan liquid. The recommended adult dose: 8-10 drops (sugar, for patients with diabetes - bread) 3 times a day. Course duration is 5-30 days. may repeat courses if necessary. In renal and hepatic colic single dose of 15-20 drops.
The recommended dose for children aged 7-14 years: 5-6 drops (sugar for people with diabetes - bread) 3 times a day.
A single dose, frequency and duration of treatment is determined individually by the doctor.
Urolesan syrup. The recommended dose for adults: 1 teaspoon (5 ml) of syrup 3 times a day. In acute conditions (including those with renal and hepatic colic) the duration of treatment course is 5-7 days for chronic conditions - from 7 days to 1 month. In the event of renal and biliary colic may be a single dose once raised to 2 teaspoons (10 ml), then the following return to normal reception unit dose (5 ml).
The recommended dose for children: at the age of 1 year - 2 years - 1-2 ml 3 times a day; 2-7 years - 2-4 ml 3 times a day; 7-14 years - 4-5 ml 3 times a day. Dosing is carried out using dosing syringe.
Urolesan capsule. The recommended dose for adults and children over the age of 14 years: 1 capsule 3 times a day. In acute conditions (including those with renal and hepatic colic) the duration of treatment course is 5-7 days for chronic conditions - from 7 days to 1 month. In the event of renal and biliary colic single dose can be increased up to two single capsule, and then in the subsequent return to the usual methods one dose (one capsule).
Contradictions
Hypersensitivity to the drug's components, gastritis (except gastritis with secretory insufficiency), gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer.
