Acestad Indications
Dilution sputum in acute or chronic bronchopulmonary diseases associated with the formation and difficulty leaving sputum.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to acetylcysteine or to any other component of the product; gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer in the acute stage, hemoptysis, pulmonary hemorrhage; liver, kidney, adrenal glands; pregnancy and lactation; congenital lactase deficiency, hereditary galactosemia, malabsorption of glucose and galactose.
Dosage & Administration
Internally, after a meal in a grind or swallow whole tablets, drinking plenty of liquid without chewing. You can dissolve a tablet in a glass of water.
Adults and children over 14 years: ½ tablet 2 times a day (equivalent to 600 mg of acetylcysteine per day) or 1 tablet 1 time a day (equivalent to 600 mg of acetylcysteine per day).
Mucolytic effect of ATSESTAD 600 is increased with increasing fluid intake. The duration of treatment depends on the nature and course of the disease and the doctor determined individually.
In patients with cystic fibrosis or chronic bronchitis treatment is a long time.
