Tobradex Indications
Inflammation of the eye in patients sensitive to steroids, under which use of corticosteroids and there is a superficial bacterial infection or risk of bacterial infections of the eye.
These inflammations can occur after surgery or may be caused by infection, infiltration of foreign body in the eye or ocular trauma.
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to the active substances or to any component of the drug.
- Keratitis caused by the virus herpes simplex.
- Vaccinia, varicella and other viral infections of the cornea and conjunctiva.
- Fungal diseases of the eye structures.
- Mycobacterial infection of the eye.
Dosage & Administration
For ophthalmic use.
To prevent contamination and tip the contents of the tube, be careful not to touch the eyelids, surrounding areas or other surfaces of the tube tip.
Keep the tube tightly closed.
Children
Safety and efficacy of children under 1 year are not installed.
