Singlong Indications

Treatment of asthma:
- As an adjunct treatment of asthma in patients aged 2-5 years with persistent asthma mild to moderate, which is not controlled with inhaled corticosteroids and in case of inadequate asthma control short-β-agonists used in case of need;
- As an alternative treatment that replaces the low-dose inhaled corticosteroids in patients aged 2-5 years with persistent asthma mild severity, which has recently been noted severe asthma attacks requiring oral corticosteroids and in patients who can not use inhaled corticosteroids.

Prevention of bronchospasm caused by exercise in patients older than 2 years.

Relief of symptoms of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis.
 
Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to montelukast or any of the excipients of the drug.
Children under 2 years old.

Dosage & Administration

The dose for patients (aged 15) who suffer from asthma or asthma with concomitant seasonal allergic rhinitis, is 10 mg (1 tablet) 1 every day and night, regardless of the meal. For the relief of symptoms of allergic rhinitis time the drug should be individualized.
