Nicotinic Acid Indications

- deficiency disease (pellagra)
- obliterating extremity vascular disease (arterial occlusive disease, Raynaud's disease), vascular spasm of limbs, bile and urinary tract infections in the complex treatment
- neuritis of the facial nerve in the complex therapy.
 
Dosing & Administration
Adult subcutaneously, intramuscularly, intravenously (slowly).
When pellagra - 10 mg (1% solution, 1 ml) 1-2 times a day for 10-15 days.
For other indications - 10 mg 1-2 times a day for 10-15 days.

Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to the drug
- Gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer in the phase
 worsening
- Severe hepatic impairment
- Gout, hyperuricemia
- Arterial hypertension (severe) and atherosclerosis (intravenous)
- Decompensated diabetes
- bleeding
- glaucoma
- Pregnancy and lactation
- Children up to age 18 years.
