Mesatone Indications
- Pupil dilation during ophthalmoscopy fundus and other procedures in monitoring the state of the rear of the eye.
- Conducting provocative test in patients with narrow profile of anterior chamber angle and suspected closure glaucoma; differential diagnosis of the type of injection of the eyeball.
- Iritis and iridocyclitis (for the purpose of prevention of adhesions and rear break already formed, as well as reducing the exudation of the iris).
Dosing & Administration
When ophthalmoscopy and for diagnostic procedures - once one drop into the conjunctival sac. If necessary, the maintenance of mydriasis for a long time after 1 hour possible repeated instillation.
Uveitis - 1 drop of patient's eyes in the conjunctival sac, 2-3 times a day until the termination of the inflammatory process. The doctor sets duration individually.
Contraindications
Narrow-angle or angle-closure glaucoma. Advanced age with severe disorders of the cardiovascular or cerebrovascular system.
Violation of the integrity of the eyeball. Hypersensitivity to the drug. Hyperthyroidism. Hepatic porphyria. Congenital deficiency of glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase
