Zodac Indications

Symptomatic treatment of nasal and ocular symptoms of seasonal and permanent allergic rhinitis, chronic idiopathic urticaria.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any excipient, which is part of the preparation, to hydroxyzine or to any piperazine derivative.

Patients with severe renal impairment with creatinine clearance less than 10 ml / min.

Patients with rare hereditary forms of intolerance to galactose, lactase deficiency or malabsorption Lappa glucose-galactose should not take cetirizine in the form of tablets, coated.

Dosage & Administration

Children 2 - 6 years: 2.5 mg twice daily cetirizine (2.5 ml syrup twice a day).

Children 6 - 12 years: 5 mg twice daily cetirizine (5 ml syrup twice a day).

Adults / adolescents over 12 years: 10 mg cetirizine 1 per day (10 ml syrup 1 per day).

Syrup can be swallowed without dilution.
