Glemont Indications
Chewable tablets montelukast 4 mg is recommended for children aged 2 to 5 years;
Montelukast chewable tablets 5 mg is recommended for children aged 6 to 14 years:
- As additional treatment of asthma in patients with asthma persystuvalnoyu mild to moderate degree that not controlled by inhaled corticosteroids, as well as inadequate clinical control of asthma using β-agonists short action used if necessary;
- As an alternative method of treatment instead of low-dose inhaled corticosteroids for patients with persistent mild asthma where there was recently serious asthma attacks requiring oral corticosteroids, and for those patients who found intolerance inhaled corticosteroids;
- As prevention of asthma, which is the dominant component of bronchoconstriction induced by physical activity;
- For the relief of symptoms of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to any component of the drug.
Dosage and administration.
The drug should be used for children under adult supervision.
Children aged 2 to 5 years.
Patients with asthma and allergic rhinitis (seasonal and perennial) the recommended dose is one chewable tablet 4 mg 1 time per day.
Children aged 6 to 14 years.
Patients with asthma and allergic rhinitis (seasonal and perennial) the recommended dose is one chewable tablet 5 mg 1 time per day.
For the treatment of asthma chewable tablets should be taken in the evening 1 hour before or 2 hours after a meal. For the relief of symptoms of allergic rhinitis you receive selected individually.
Individual choice of dose for this age group is not needed.
For patients aged 15 pills montelukast recommended dose of 10 mg.
