Contraception (prevention of pregnancy).
Dosage & Adminstration
With proper use of combined oral contraceptives (COCs), the degree of failure is approximately 1 % per year. When you miss a pill or incorrect application the degree of failure may increase.
The tablets should be taken daily according to the order indicated on the blister, about the same time, squeezed small amounts of liquid. The drug is taken 1 tablet daily for 21 days in a row. The use of the tablets from the next pack should be started after 7 day break in taking the drug.
Contradictions
Astha the drug should not be used in the presence of at least one of the conditions or illnesses listed below. If any of these conditions or of disease occurs for the first time during the use of the drug, its intake should cease immediately.
Hypersensitivity to the active substances or to any component of the drug.
Venous or arterial thrombotic/thromboembolic events (e.g. deep venous thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, myocardial infarction) or zerebrovskulyarnoe disorder currently or in history.
The presence or history of prodromal symptoms of thrombosis (e.g. transient ischemic attacks, angina).
The presence of heavy or multiple risk factors for arterial thrombosis:
– diabetes mellitus with vascular lesions;
– severe arterial hypertension;
– severe hyperlipidemia.
