Yanuvia Indications
Adult patients with diabetes mellitus type 2 Yanuvia drug shown to improve glycemic control:
Contraindications
· Hypersensitivity to any component of the drug.
· Type 1 diabetes.
· Diabetic ketoacidosis.
Dosage & Administration
Recommended Yanuvia take the drug at a dose of 100 mg once daily as monotherapy or in combination with metformin and / or PPARγ agonist.
In appointing Yanuvia drug in combination with sulfonylureas or insulin, it is considered that a lower dose of sulfonylurea or insulin reduces the risk of hypoglycemia.
