Voxid Indications

- Treatment of the 2nd type of diabetes when blood glucose levels can not be adequately maintain only diet and / or exercise; as monotherapy or in combination therapy together with other oral hypoglycemic agents or insulin.
- Treatment of the 1st type of diabetes, the combination therapy together with insulin.
 
Contraindications

- Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any other component of the drug.
- Diabetic ketoacidosis, diabetic prekomy, diabetic coma.
- Severe infections.
- Major surgery and trauma.

Dosage & Administration

The drug is used internally Voxid immediately before each meal with water.
Usually Voxid initial dose for adults is 0.2 mg 3 times a day. If the therapeutic effect is insufficient, the dose can be increased to 0.3 mg 3 times a day, provided a careful observation of the disease.
For elderly patients the initial dose Voxid 0.1 mg 3 times a day. If the therapeutic effect is insufficient, the dose may be increased to 0.2-0.3 mg 3 times a day, provided a careful observation of the disease.
