Viread Indications
HIV-1 Infection
Treatment of HIV-1-infected in combination with other antiretroviral drugs.
Hepatitis B
The drug Viread for the treatment of chronic hepatitis B in adults with:
· Compensated liver disease with evidence of active viral replication, constant increase of alanine aminotransferase (ALT) in serum and histological manifestation of active inflammation and (or) fibrosis;
· Decompensated liver disease (see. Section "Adverse reactions", "Peculiarities of Application" and "Pharmacodynamics").
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.
Children age.
Dosage& Administration
Treatment should begin physician who is experienced in treating HIV and (or) chronic hepatitis B.
