Azicin INDICATIONS
infections caused by microorganisms sensitive to azithromycin: infection of upper respiratory tract (bacterial pharyngitis / tonsillitis, sinusitis, otitis media);
respiratory infections (bronchitis, pneumonia);
skin and soft tissue infections;
infections, sexually transmitted diseases caused by chlamydia;
infection of the stomach and duodenum caused by Helicobacter pylori.
APPLICATION
Azitsin should be applied one hour before meals or 2 hours after a meal, as the simultaneous reception violates the absorption of azithromycin. 1 The drug is taken once a day. For infections of upper respiratory tract, the respiratory tract, skin and soft tissues: 500 mg (1 tablet once) a day for 3 days.
For infections, sexually transmitted diseases: 1 g single dose (2 tablets of 500 mg). In gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer: 1 g (2 tablets of 500 mg) daily for 3 days with antisecretory agent and other drugs prescribed by a doctor.
When you miss receiving 1 dose, the missed dose should be taken as soon as possible, and the next - at intervals of 24 hours. In the elderly and in patients with impaired renal function there is no need to change dosage.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Hypersensitivity to macrolide antibiotics or other ingredients. Severe liver dysfunction.
Children weighing less than 45 kg (for dosage forms of data).
