Linezolidin Indications

Treatment of infections caused by susceptible strains of anaerobic or aerobic gram-positive bacteria, including infections, accompanied by bacteremia, such as:

- Nosocomial pneumonia

- Community acquired pneumonia

- Complicated infections of the skin and its structures, particularly against the background of infection of diabetic foot without concomitant osteomyelitis, caused by Staphylococcus aureus (metytsylinchutlyvymy and metytsylinrezystentnymy isolates), Staphylococcus pyogenes or Staphylococcus agalactiae

- Uncomplicated infections of the skin and its structures caused by Staphylococcus aureus (metytsylinchutlyvymy isolates only) or Staphylococcus pyogenes

- Infections caused by enterococci, including vancomycin-resistant strains of Enterococcus faecium and faecalis

If infection pathogens include Gram-negative bacteria, clinically shown combination therapy appointment.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to linezolid or any of the other ingredients.

Linezolidyn should not be used in patients who are taking any medicines that suppress monoamine oxidase A and B (eg phenelzine, izokarboksazyd, selegiline, moclobemide) or within two weeks after receiving such drugs.

Dosage and administration.

Patients whose treatment was started with the purpose of linezolid for intravenous infusion may be converted to linezolid treatment for oral administration. In this case, the selection of dose is not needed because the bioavailability of oral linezolid in the application is almost 100%.
