Vazonat Indications

- Complex therapy of ischemic heart disease (angina, myocardial infarction, chronic heart failure, cardiomyopathy dyshormonal).
- In the complex treatment of acute and chronic disorders of cerebral circulation (chronic cerebrovascular insufficiency, cerebral stroke). When hemophthalmus and retinal hemorrhages of different etiologies, degenerative diseases of the retina (diabetic, hypertensive retinopathy).
- The period of recovery after a serious illness.
- Reduced performance.
- Physical overload, including the athletes.
- Combined therapy to eliminate the abstinence syndrome in chronic alcoholism.
- Complex treatment of non-alcoholic steatohepatitis and toxic hepatitis.

Dosage & Administration

Adults are appoint with 500 mg (2 capsules) or 1000 mg (4 capsules) per day. The daily dose taken once in the morning or divided into 2 doses. In view of the possible development of stimulating effect it is recommended to take the drug in the first half of the day. The course of treatment is between 10-14 days to 4-6 weeks.

The course of treatment can be repeated several times a year.
Treatment of hepatitis: 500 mg (two capsules) per day. The course of treatment - 30 days.

Contradictions

Hypersensitivity to meldonium dihydrate or excipients of the drug.

Increased intracranial pressure (in violation of the venous outflow, intracranial tumors).

During pregnancy and breastfeeding.
