Urotol Indications
Hyperactivity of the bladder, accompanied by symptoms such as frequent or excessive urination, urinary incontinence.
Dosage & Adminstration
The recommended dose is 2 mg 2 times a day, except in patients with impaired liver and kidney (glomerular filtration rate ≤30 ml/min), which recommended dose is 1 mg 2 times a day. In case of adverse effects the dose is also required to be reduced to 1 mg 2 times a day.
The course of treatment is 6 months. After 6 months should evaluate the need for further treatment.
The drug is used regardless of the meal. The tablet should be swallowed whole without chewing, with a sufficient number of neutral liquid.
Contradictions
- hypersensitivity to tolterodine or any component of the drug;
- urinary retention;
- angle-closure glaucoma is not curable;
- myasthenia gravis;
--severe ulcerative colitis;
- toxic megacolon; pregnancy and lactation;
- age of 18.
