Temozolomid Indications
- malignant glioma or progressive disease after therapy of patients older than 3 years;
- multiform glioblastoma in combination with chemotherapy after 18 years.
Contradictions
Hypersensitivity to temozolomide or to any excipient in the formulation, increased sensitivity to dacarbazine (DTIC); severe form of myelosuppression.
Dosage & Administration
Therapy should be conducted exclusively by a physician with experience in the oncological therapy of brain tumors. At the same time it is possible to carry out anti-ethical therapy.
Temozolomide, capsules, should be taken on an empty stomach.
The capsule should be swallowed whole by taking a glass of water. Capsules can not be opened or chewed.
If after taking the drug vomiting, do not take the second dose of the drug on the same day.
