Quadevit Indications
- mental and physical exertion;
- vitamin deficiencies, the highest need of vitamins and minerals due to an unbalanced diet, adherence to a special diet, gastrointestinal disorders;
- recovery period after suffering serious illnesses, operations, trauma and stressful conditions;
- improve the overall resistance of the organism and prevention of infectious diseases during epidemics (such as influenza);
- stimulate wound healing, burns;
- reduce toxicity and reduce the side effects of the treatment with antibiotics, during and after chemotherapy;
- treatment of atherosclerosis, cerebrovascular and cardiovascular disease.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the drug, severe renal dysfunction, gout, hyperuricemia, nephrolithiasis, erythremia, polycythemia, thrombosis, active tuberculosis of the lungs, fructose intolerance, thrombophlebitis, hypervitaminosis A and E, the metabolism of iron or copper, hyperthyroidism, chronic glomerulonephritis, chronic heart failure, a history of sarcoidosis, active peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum.
Dosage & Administration
The drug is taken orally after meals.
In order to prevent Quadevit is prescribed to adults and children under 14 years: 1 tablet per day, elderly people - 1 tablet 2 times a day. The duration of prophylactic course - 1-2 months.
With the purpose of treatment used 1 tablet 3 times a day. The course of treatment - 3-4 weeks. Repeated courses conducted after 3-month break.
During pregnancy and lactation the drug is used only on prescription. In the first trimester - not more than 1 tablet per day in the second and third trimester - no more than 2 tablets per day.
During lactation prophylactically 1 tablet a day, therapeutic - 1 pill 2 times per day.
