Madopar Indications
Treatment of all forms of Parkinson's disease, parkinsonism other than drug origin.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to levodopa, benserazydu or to any of the ingredients.
Patients taking Madopar can not be used simultaneously any combination of MAO inhibitors and inhibitors of MAO-A and MAO-B. Appointment Madopar possible only 2 weeks (14 days) after administration of MAO inhibitors and combinations of inhibitors of MAO-A and MAO-B. Simultaneous use with Madoparom inhibitors of MAO-B selegiline and razahalinu, MAO-A inhibitor moclobemide.
Madopar is not be administered in the presence of severely decompensated endocrine, renal, liver or heart disease, and mental illness with psychotic component-closure glaucoma.
Madopar is not be given to patients under 25 years of age (bone growth to end).
Dosage & Administration
The drug is used in patients aged over 25 years.
Tablets can be crushed for easier swallowing. The drug should be taken internally, at least 30 minutes before meals or 1 hour after meals.
Adverse events of the gastrointestinal tract, which mostly occur in the early stages of treatment, perhaps by taking control Madopar meals or with sufficient food or liquid, or by gradually increasing the dose.
