Betagis Indications
- disease and Meniere's syndrome;
- vertigo of various origins (osteochondrosis of the cervical spine, vertebro-basilar insufficiency, cerebral arteriosclerosis, after traumatic brain injury, surgery, psychotic genesis, idiopathic vertigo).
Contradictions
Individual hypersensitivity to betahistine or any other components of the drug, gastric and / or duodenal ulcer in the acute phase, pheochromocytoma, bronchial asthma with frequent attacks.
Children under 12 years old.
Dosage & Administration
Betagis taken orally during or after meal. The dose and duration of treatment is determined individually for each patient depending on the indication and the severity of the disease.
In exchange treatment is prescribed for adults 24-48 mg betahistine per day (1 / 2-1 tablet 3 times a day).
In most cases, improvement noted after 2-3 weeks, if necessary, treatment with Betahis course can be extended to several months.
