Nitro Mik Indications
- Treatment of angina.
- Prophylaxis of angina; exercise or emotional stress, which can cause strokes.
- Adjuvant therapy in cases requiring emergency care, acute left ventricular failure (cardiac asthma).
- Reducing pressure in acute myocardial infarction.
- Prevention of coronary artery spasms caused by probing the heart during coronary angiography.
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to the active substance, other nitrate derivatives or to any component of the drug.
- Circulatory collapse (shock, collapse).
- Hypotension (systolic blood pressure below 100 mm. Hg. Art., Diastolic blood pressure below 60 mm Hg).
- Cardiogenic shock.
- Acute myocardial infarction with low filling pressure.
- Left ventricular failure with low filling pressure.
- Angina caused by hypertrophic, obstructive cardiomyopathy.
- Constrictive pericarditis.
- Pericardial tamponade cavity.
- Cerebral ischemia.
- Closure glaucoma with high intraocular pressure.
- Bradycardia (less than 50 beats / min).
Dosage & Administration
Treatment of angina.
Depending on the patient's sensitivity to nitrates, to spray 1-2 (1-2 doses; 0.4-0.8 mg) of the drug sublingually in a sitting position. If necessary, the dose can be increased to the maximum - 3 spray for 15 minutes. If this attack stoped not need to see a doctor.
Preventing strokes: 5-10 minutes of exercise make 1 spray drug.
Acute left ventricular failure with / without pulmonary edema (cardiac asthma):
The recommended dose - 1-3 spraying (0,4-1,2 mg) under control of the circulatory system (systolic blood pressure should be higher than 100 mm. Hg. in.). In case of unsatisfactory effect procedure can be repeated at the same dose after 10 minutes.
Before coronary angiography, to prevent spasms of the coronary vessels is recommended to spray 1-2 (0.4-0.8 mg).
Before first use dispenser bottle has to be filled. To do this, remove the protective cap and repeatedly press the dispenser until the aerosol. If the bottle is not used for a long time, the filling process should be repeated.
