Fluorouracil Indications

- stomach cancer;
- pancreatic cancer;
- esophageal cancer;
- breast cancer;
- adjuvant therapy of primary invasive breast cancer;
- inoperable locally advanced squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck in previously untreated patients;
- local recurrence or metastases in squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck.

Contradictions

- Significant deviations from the norm of the number of shaped elements in the blood.

- Bleeding

- Stomatitis, ulcers of the mucous membrane of the mouth and the gastrointestinal tract.

- Severe diarrhea.

- Severe renal dysfunction.

Dosage & Administration

Patient should be exercised when treating patients with controlled sodium diets.

Treatment with fluorouracil is carried out under the supervision of a qualified oncologist who has experience in the use of antimetabolites in a hospital setting.
