Milukant Indications

Children aged 2 to 5 years

- As additional treatment of asthma in patients aged 2 to 5 years with persistent asthma mild to moderate severity that not controlled by inhaled corticosteroids, as well as inadequate clinical control of asthma using agonists β-adrenergic short-acting, which is used if necessary .

- As an alternative treatment instead of low-dose inhaled corticosteroids for patients aged 2 to 5 years with persistent asthma, mild, which are not mentioned for the last time serious asthma attacks requiring oral corticosteroids and who can not use inhaled corticosteroids.

- Prevention of asthma in patients aged 2 years, which is the dominant component of asthma bronchoconstriction induced by physical exertion.

- Relief of symptoms of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis.

Dosage & Administration

The drug should be used for children under adult supervision.

Patients with asthma and allergic rhinitis (seasonal and perennial) should take 1 chewing tablet (4 mg) 1 every day. For the relief of symptoms of allergic rhinitis you receive should be individualized.

For asthma treatment dose for children aged 2 to 5 years is 1 tablet chewing

(4 mg) a day, in the evening. Milukant be taken 1 hour before meals or 2 hours after meals. No need for dose adjustment in this age group. Milukant drug in dosage form chewable tablets (4 mg) are not recommended for children under 2 years.
