Kombinil Duo Indications
- Hypersensitivity to dexamethasone, ciprofloxacin and other fluoroquinolones or to any other component of the drug;
- Viral keratitis;
- Herpes infection (keratitis tree, Herpes simplex);
- Purulent infection of the mucous membrane of the eye and eyelids;
- Tuberculous lesions of eyes, ears,
- Smallpox, chickenpox or other viral lesions of the conjunctiva and cornea;
- Viral lesions ears;
- Fungal lesions of the eye;
- Pregnancy;
- Lactation;
- Children age.
Dosage & Administration
The drug is used in the form of instillations in adults.
In ophthalmology: 1-2 drops into the conjunctival sac of one or both eyes every 6 hours. After 1-2 days of use, if necessary, the dose may be increased to 1-2 drops every 2 hours. Upon reaching the therapeutic effect of the dose and frequency of application is reduced. The course of treatment is usually 7 days.
In otorhinolaryngology: 4 drops in a sore ear twice a day. The daily dose - 8 drops in each ear canal, which accounts for 8 mg of dexamethasone and 24 mg of ciprofloxacin. The course of treatment is usually 7 days.
