Jaz Plus / Yaz Indications
Active ingredients: ethinyl estradiol, drospirenone levomefolat calcium;
1 pack contains 28 tablets (24 tablets 4 tablets of pink and light orange):
- 1 pink tablet containing 0.02 mg ethinylestradiol (as with betadeksom clathrate) and drospirenone 3 mg, 0.451 mg calcium levomefolatu.
- 1 light orange tablet of levomefolate contains 0.451 mg of calcium;
- Oral contraception with antymineralokortykoyidnymy and anti-androgenic effects, especially for women with hormone-dependent fluid retention and related symptoms;
- Acne Treatment normal (except for severe) in women who chose oral contraception to prevent pregnancy;
- Treatment of the symptoms of premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD) in women who chose oral contraceptives to prevent pregnancy.
- Providing folatnoho status of women who chose oral contraception.
Contraindications
Jazz Plus drug should not be used in the presence of at least one of the conditions listed below or diseases. If any of these conditions or disease occurs during the first use of the drug, its reception should be stopped immediately.
- Venous or arterial thrombotic / thromboembolic manifestations (such as deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, myocardial infarction) or cerebrovascular accident present or in history.
- Presence or history now prodromal symptoms of thrombosis (eg transient stroke, angina).
- The presence of serious or multiple risk factors for venous or arterial thrombosis.
- Migraine with focal neurological symptoms in history.
- Diabetes mellitus with vascular lesion.
- Severe liver disease, while indicators of liver function have not returned to normal limits.
- Renal insufficiency or severe acute renal failure.
- Availability current or history of liver tumors (benign or malignant).
- Known or suspected hormone-dependent malignant tumors (eg, genitals or breasts.
- Vaginal bleeding of unknown etiology.
- Known or suspected pregnancy.
- Hypersensitivity to the active substances or to any of the ingredients.
Dosage & Administration
With proper use of combined oral contraceptives (COCs) the degree of inefficiency is about 1% per year. When crossing the pill or applying the wrong degree of inefficiency can grow.
Tablets should be taken daily in accordance with the procedure referred to blister, about the same time, drinking a small amount of liquid. The drug take 1 tablet a day for 28 consecutive days. Pills with every next pack should be started the day after the last day of the pill package that is over.
Menstrualnopodobnoy bleeding usually starts on day 2-3 after starting the pill pale orange, not containing hormone (the last row in the package) and it may not end before the use of tablets with the next pack.
