Glikodin Indications

Acute and chronic respiratory diseases accompanied by dry unproductive cough.
In the postoperative period to eliminate the cough syndrome.

Contraindications

Individual intolerance to the drug. Patients at risk of developing respiratory failure, asthma. Concurrent administration of monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAO), furazolidone, procarbazine, selegiline, mucolytic agents. Children under 2 years old.

Dosage & Administration

Adults: 1 Measuring spoon (5 ml) 3-4 times a day. Children aged 2 to 3 years - ¼ measuring spoon 2-3 times a day for children aged 4 to 6 years old - ¼ measuring spoon 3-4 times a day for children aged 7 to 14 years - ½ measuring spoon 3-4 times a day, children from the age of 14 - 1 Measuring spoon 3-4 times a day.

Duration of treatment is usually 3-4 days, but depending on the nature of disease severity and localization can be extended up to 1 week.
