Proxium Indications
Adults and children aged 12 and over.
- Reflux esophagitis.
Adults
- Eradication of Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) in patients with H. pylori - associated stomach ulcers and duodenal ulcers in combination with appropriate antibiotics.
- An ulcer of the duodenum.
- Gastric ulcer
- Zollinger-Ellison syndrome and other hypersecretory abnormal conditions.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the active substance, derivatives of benzimidazole and any component of the drug.
Dosage & Adminsitration
The drug is used by adults as intended and under the direct supervision of a physician. Intravenous administration of pantoprazole is recommended only when it is not possible to administer it orally.
There are data on the duration of intravenous treatment up to 7 days.
Therefore, in the clinical capacity, the transition from intravenous administration of Proxima to the oral is carried out.
