Dramina Indications
- Prevention and elimination of nausea and vomiting due to manifestations of sea and air sickness, the application of radiation therapy, medications and surgery.
- Symptomatic treatment of Meniere's disease and other disorders of the vestibular apparatus.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to dimenhydrinate, diphenhydramine and other antihistamines of similar structure, increased sensitivity to other ingredients.
Eclampsia, epilepsy (especially in children), severe renal insufficiency, severe hepatic insufficiency, acute asthma attack, pheochromocytoma, porphyria, prostatic hyperplasia with urinary retention, angle-closure glaucoma, increased intracranial pressure.
Pregnancy and lactation.
Children under 2 years old.
Dosage & Administration
Prevention and elimination of nausea and vomiting due to manifestations of sea and air sickness, the application of radiation therapy, medications and surgery.
Adults and children over 12 years: 50 mg (1 tablet) 30-60 minutes prior to the trip, then as necessary by 50-100 mg every 4-6 hours, but not more than 400 mg / day.
Children aged 6 to 12 years of age: 25-50 mg (1 / 2-1 tablet) every 6-8 hours if necessary, but not more than 150 mg / day.
Children aged 2 to 6 years: 25 mg (1/2 tablets) every 6-8 hours if necessary, but not 75 mg / day.
