Fusiderm gel Indications
As a monotherapy or in combination with systemic therapy for the treatment of primary or secondary infections of the skin and soft tissues caused by susceptible strains of microorganisms (Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus spp., And Corynebacterium minutissimum), including: impetigo, folliculitis, paronychia, sycosis skin in the area of beards, erythrasma, acne rashes, infected wounds and burns, infected contact dermatitis, infected dermatitis.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to fusidic acids or other components of the drug, infections of skin and soft tissues sensitive to the drug, eg, Pseudomonas aeruginos.
Application
Reported bacterial resistance during the use of fusidic acid applied topically, as with the use of antibiotics local action, prolonged and repeated use of the gel may increase the risk of contact sensitization and the development of resistance to antibiotics.
Apply the medication to the skin around the eyes should cautiously, avoiding the eye gel, as this can cause irritation of the conjunctiva.
