Bicard Indications
- Hypertension;
- Ischemic heart disease (angina);
- Chronic heart failure with left ventricular systolic dysfunction in combination with ACE inhibitors, diuretics, if necessary - cardiac glycosides.
Contraindications
- Acute heart failure or heart failure in a state of decompensation requiring inotropic therapy;
- Cardiogenic shock;
- Atrioventricular block II and III;
- Sick sinus syndrome;
- Severe sinoatrial block;
- Symptomatic bradycardia;
- Symptomatic hypotension;
- A severe form of asthma or severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease;
- Late stages of peripheral circulatory violations, Raynaud's disease;
- Pheochromocytoma, not treated;
- Metabolic acidosis;
- Hypersensitivity to bisoprolol or other ingredients.
Dosage & Administration
Bicard drug should be taken without chewing, or on an empty stomach in the morning during breakfast, washed down with some liquid.
Hypertension; coronary heart disease (angina).
The recommended dose is 5 mg (1 tablet of the drug Bicard 5 mg) per day. If moderate hypertension (diastolic pressure of 105 mm Hg. C) suitable dose of 2.5 mg.
If necessary, the daily dose may be increased to 10 mg (1 tablet of the drug Bicard 10 mg) per day. The maximum recommended dose is 20 mg per day.
Changing and adjusting the dose set individually depending on the doctor of the patient.
Bicard necessarily used with caution in patients with arterial hypertension or ischemic heart disease accompanied by heart failure.

Standard therapy of chronic heart failure: ACE inhibitors (or angiotensin receptor blocker in case of intolerance to ACE inhibitors), beta-blockers, diuretics and, where appropriate, cardiac glycosides.
