Enalozid Indications

Arterial hypertension.

Dosage & Administration

 The initial dose is 1 tablet (12.5 Enalozid; Enalozid 25; Enalozid Forte) 1 time per day. If the desired effect is absent, the daily dose was increased to two tablets one time per day. The maximum dose - 2 tablets per day.

Prior diuretic therapy. If a patient is already taking diuretics, it is recommended to cancel or reduce the dose of the diuretic 2-3 days before starting therapy Enalozid / Enalozid Forte in order to avoid a sharp decline in blood pressure. Symptomatic hypotension may occur at the beginning of therapy Enalozidom / Enalozidom Forte and more common in patients whose previous therapy with diuretics has caused disruption of water and electrolyte balance.

Impaired renal function. For patients with impaired moderate and severe renal impairment (creatinine clearance ≤30 mL / min) thiazides may not be sufficiently effective. Patients with creatinine clearance 30-80 ml / min Enalozid / Enalozid Forte can be used only after a preliminary selection of the dose of each component of the drug. In light violations recommended dose of enalapril maleate in renal function, which is taken separately, is 5-10 mg.

Contradictions

Hypersensitivity to any component of the drug and other sulfonamide derivatives. Angioedema in history associated with ACE inhibitors, as well as hereditary or idiopathic angioedema.
