Flixotide Evohaler Indications

Prophylactic treatment of asthma.

Easy asthma: patients who require periodic symptomatic treatment with bronchodilators daily.

Moderate asthma: Asthma Patients with unstable or deteriorating against the backdrop of the current preventive therapy or treatment with bronchodilators alone.

Severe asthma: Patients with severe chronic asthma and patients who are dependent on systemic corticosteroids for adequate control of symptoms. After the use of inhaled fluticasone propionate many of these patients can significantly reduce or completely eliminate the use of oral corticosteroids.

Dosage & Administration

The drug is only for inhalation use by mouth.

Patients who have difficulty breathing synchronized with the click of the valve is recommended to use a spacer (a device to facilitate the introduction of inhaled drugs).

Patients should be informed that inhaled FLIXOTIDE be used for disease prevention on a regular basis, even in the absence of asthma attacks. The beginning of the therapeutic effect occurs within 4-7 days.
